Cerimonia di Congedo dalla Guinea Equatoriale e Partenza da Malabo
Lasciato lo Stadio di Malabo dopo aver presieduto la Santa Messa, alle ore 12.00 locali il Santo Padre si è trasferito in auto all’Aeroporto internazionale di Malabo per la Cerimonia di Congedo dalla Guinea Equatoriale.
Il Pontefice è stato accolto dal Presidente della Guinea Equatoriale, S.E. il Signor Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, e dalla consorte, Constancia Mangue de Obiang.
Dopo l’esecuzione degli inni, l’Onore alle Bandiere, il passaggio della Guardia d’Onore e il Saluto delle rispettive Delegazioni, Papa Leone XIV è salito a bordo di un ITA A330-900neo ed è partito alle ore 12.54 locali alla volta di Roma.
L’atterraggio all’Aeroporto internazionale di Fiumicino è avvenuto alle ore 19.18 circa.
