Partenza da Yaoundé e Cerimonia di congedo

Alle ore 12:00 il Santo Padre è arrivato all’Aeroporto internazionale di Yaoundé-Nsimalen. per la cerimonia di congedo dal Camerun, dove è stato accolto dal Primo Ministro del Camerun, S.E. il Signor Joseph Dion Ngute.

Dopo l’esecuzione degli inni, l’Onore alle Bandiere, il passaggio della Guardia d’Onore e il saluto delle rispettive Delegazioni, Papa Leone XIV è salito a bordo di un Airbus A330-900neo di ITA Airways ed è partito alle ore 12:47 locali alla volta dell’Angola.

L’atterraggio all’Aeroporto internazionale di Luanda è avvenuto alle ore 14:45 locali.
