COMUNICATO DELLA SALA STAMPA DELLA SANTA SEDE SULLA PLENARIA DI MONEYVAL ● TESTO IN LINGUA ITALIANA
Nei giorni 2-6 luglio 2012 si svolge, a Strasburgo, la Plenaria di Moneyval (la divisione del Consiglio d’Europa competente per la valutazione dei sistemi antiriciclaggio dei Paesi membri), a cui la Santa Sede partecipa con una Delegazione, guidata da Mons. Ettore Balestrero, Sotto-Segretario per i Rapporti con gli Stati.
In data odierna è stato adottato il Rapporto relativo alla Santa Sede e allo Stato della Città del Vaticano. Come previsto dalle procedure Moneyval, la versione emendata del Rapporto, esito della riunione odierna, sarà inviata alla Santa Sede, perché entro un mese ne controlli l’accuratezza ed eventualmente vi apporti ulteriori commenti. Il Rapporto sarà pubblicato nel sito web di Moneyval.

From July 2nd to 6th 2012, the Plenary Meeting of Moneyval (the Council of Europe’s department responsible for the evaluation of member states with respect to anti-money laundering systems) is taking place in Strasbourg. The Holy See is taking part in this meeting with a delegation led by Monsignor Ettore Balestrero, Under-Secretary for Relations with States.
The Report relating to the Holy See and to Vatican City State was adopted today. According to usual Moneyval procedure, in the near future an amended version of the Report, based upon today’s plenary session, will be forwarded to the Holy See for possible further comment to be submitted within one month. The Report is expected to be published on the Moneyval website.
