Da oggi, 19 aprile 2012, settimo anniversario dell’Elezione del Santo Padre Benedetto XVI, sarà disponibile il widget di www.vatican.va.
Attraverso questa piccola applicazione, sarà dunque possibile trasportare sul proprio sito, in maniera automatica e dinamica, alcuni dei principali contenuti presenti sul sito istituzionale www.vatican.va.
Il Magistero Pontificio si arricchisce così di un ulteriore strumento di comunicazione, per la diffusione dei contenuti del sito istituzionale, cogliendo ogni opportunità tecnologica per diffondere la parola del Santo Padre.
In particolare, il widget permetterà di esportare le principali novità, gli Angelus della domenica, le Udienze e il Bollettino della Sala Stampa della Santa Sede. Nell’area "Focus" della homepage di www.vatican.va viene riportata la mail alla quale chiedere il codice da inserire nella homepage del proprio sito per visualizzare  in esso il "widget vatican.va".

COMMUNIQUE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS - VATICAN INTERNET SERVICE: WWW.VATICAN.VA WIDGET IN HONOUR OF THE HOLY FATHER ELECTION ANNIVERSARY

As of today, 19 April 2012, seventh anniversary of the Election of the Holy Father Benedict XVI, a new www.vatican.va WIDGET will be available to users of the Internet.
By using this interface it will be possible, automatically and dynamically, to transfer some of the most important content contained in the institutional website www.vatican.va to another user's website.
Pontifical Magisterium is thus enriched with another means of communication, making the content of the institutional website more widely known, and using all the opportunities technology offers in order to spread the word of the Holy Father.
In particular, using the new widget it will be possible to export all the principal novelties, the Sunday Angelus, Audiences and the Bulletin of the Holy See Press Office.
The "Focus" area of the homepage www.vatican.va contains the mail address at which users may request the code to insert on the own homepage of their own websites in order to visualise the "vatican.va widget".
