FEDERICO LOMBARDI, S.I., SU AMBASCIATA D’IRLANDA PRESSO LA SANTA SEDE ● TESTO IN LINGUA ITALIANA La Santa Sede prende atto della decisione dell’Irlanda di chiudere la sua ambasciata a Roma presso la Santa Sede. Naturalmente ogni Stato che ha relazioni diplomatiche con la Santa Sede è libero di decidere, in base alla sue possibilità e ai suoi interessi, se avere un Ambasciatore presso la Santa Sede residente a Roma oppure residente in un altro Paese. Ciò che è importante sono i rapporti diplomatici fra la Santa Sede e gli Stati, e questi non sono in questione per quanto riguarda l’Irlanda.
