Launch of the new app of the institutional site www.vaticanstate.va

The new official app of the Governorate of Vatican City State is dedicated to Saint Carlo Acutis (1991-2006) and his brilliance in computer science.

The app offers the contents of the institutional information website www.vaticanstate.va and has been designed to make access to information even easier, more immediate and accessible from mobile devices.

The new app allows users to quickly and intuitively consult news, alerts and official communications, improving the browsing experience and accessibility to information.

Among the main features of the app are:

•    updated access to institutional news and communications;

•    push notifications for the latest news;

•    simplified and optimized navigation for smartphones and tablets;

•    greater accessibility and usability of content.

The app features various sections: Saint of the Day, news, interviews, videos, and links to other institutions of the Governorate: CFN, Vatican Museums, Vatican Pharmacy, Vatican Post Office, Pontifical Villas, and the Vatican Observatory. Other features will be added later.

The initiative is part of the digital innovation process promoted by the Governorate, with the aim of promoting transparency, participation and the dissemination of institutional information through modern and inclusive tools.
