PRESS RELEASE

POPE LEO XIV TO MEET THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF ROME

The event will take place on Saturday 10 January at 10.00 in the Paul VI Hall

On Saturday 10 January, at 17.00, in the Paul VI Hall, Roman teenagers and young people will meet POPE LEO XIV. An unmissable event in the aftermath of the end of the Jubilee – which will conclude definitively on the day of the Epiphany, with the closing of the Holy Door of Saint Peter’s Basilica – during which the young people will be able to listen to the Holy Father’s words.

Many young people will be present: from those who attend catechism classes to those who meet in parish groups, from members of movements and associations to those enrolled in Catholic sports clubs, as well as students, university students and those living away from home who reside in colleges within the diocese. Accompanying them on this special meeting with the Pope will be Cardinal Vicar BALDO REINA, who announced the event during the “Night in the Cathedral” prayer service on 21 November and renewed the invitation in a letter.
