In Indonesia, the Scholas community joins in interreligious prayer for Pope Francis’ health

Jakarta, 4 March – In a powerful sign of unity and hope, young people and religious leaders of various faiths gathered at Hati Indonesia, the polyhedron created by the young people of Scholas, for a moment of interreligious prayer dedicated to the health of Pope Francis.

This space, inaugurated personally by the Holy Father during his apostolic visit in Indonesia last August, has become a symbol of the encounter between cultures and religions. Today, Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists have gathered in a gesture of closeness and support, reaffirming the spirit of fraternity and dialogue that inspires Scholas throughout the world.

Members of diverse religions, members of the United in Diversity University and the THK Movement participate at Hati Indonesia. In addition, children are sending their drawings as messages of affection and support to Pope Francis via 5P Global, partner of Scholas in this initiative.
