Bernini’s Souls

In the path of preparation for the Jubilee Year 2025, the Vatican Museums and the Spanish Embassy to the Holy See are offering a joint exhibition project, entitled “Bernini’s Souls”, which from 19 November will display, in the Vatican Pinacoteca, two sculptures by the young Gian Lorenzo Bernini, produced in 1619: the Blessed Soul and the Damned Soul, property of the “Opera Pia-Stabilimenti Spagnoli in Italia” and conserved in the Spanish Embassy.
