Aldeas, the production company of Scholas Occurrentes,
completed its first feature film, "Life Between Worlds," with the special participation of Pope Francis

Today, Aldeas Scholas Films, the production company of Scholas Occurrentes, celebrated the presentation of its debut film at the prestigious Cinema Troisi, located in the Trastevere district of Rome. The film narrates the visit of Pope Francis to Portugal and his participation in the creation of the most extensive and diverse work of art in the world.

Rome, march 15.  Within the framework of the World Youth Day held in Portugal, Pope Francis celebrated with the young people of Cascais the creation of the largest work of art in the world. There, His Holiness has given the final touch to a 4 km long mural that culminates in the Sistine Chapel of the youth and that was able to bring together the diversity of generations, origins and beliefs of an entire community.

"Life Between Worlds" brings together the paths of its protagonists, who span all generations and a profound diversity of realities and beliefs, along with the teachings of Pope Francis to make this film a hymn to humanity, teaching with its sound and visual poetics our responsibility to look our own chaos in the face, go out to meet life and give meaning to our existence.

The private screening was reserved for Scholas Occurrentes youth of different nationalities, the producers who participated in the project, representatives of the Cascais Chamber of Commerce who have supported the documentary and the local press. It is now expected that the feature film will be presented at various international film festivals and then the classic distribution by platforms, bringing the message of Scholas Occurrentes to audiences around the world and consolidating the pedagogy of Pope Francis in the field of cinema and culture.

This movie confirms the Scholas movement's commitment to education in diversity and integrality and the need of art for social transformation and the construction of a more Beautiful, Just and Fraternal world.
