Vatican: Presentation of World Children’s Day at the Olympic Stadium

Saturday 2 March at 17 in the Olympic Stadium Press Office, Rome

 

VATICAN, 29 FEB – On Saturday 2 March at 17, in the Press Office of the Olympic Stadium of Rome, the presentation of the first World Children’s Day, “Behold, I make all things new”, organized by the Dicastery for Culture and Education and by the coordinator of World Children’s Day, Fr. Enzo Fortunato. The international meeting will be held on 25 and 26 May in Rome, and will involve the participation of Pope Francis and children from all over the world.

During the press conference, numbers and nationalities of the children who have asked to take part in World Children’s Day will be presented, along with organizational information.

The meeting will be attended by Fr. Enzo Fortunato, coordinator of World Children’s Day, Marco Impagliazzo, president of the Sant’Egidio Community, Aldo Cagnoli, deputy coordinator of World Children’s Day, Stella Cervogni, responsible for foreign delegations to World Children’s Day, Marco Mezzaroma, president of Sport and Health, and Gianluigi Buffon, head of the National Football team delegation.

Press Accreditation Procedure

Journalists and media workers who wish to attend the Press Conference must apply up to 24 hours before the event via the Holy See Press Office online accreditation system at https://press.vatican.va/accreditamenti, selecting the event Presentazione Giornata Mondiale dei Bambini.

Journalists and media workers who are admitted will receive confirmation of participation via the online accreditation system.

Journalist and media workers accredited for the Press Conference are invited to be present 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the Conference, and may enter the Press Office of the Olympic Stadium via the tour entrance in Viale dei Gladiatori.
