Election of Members of the Synthesis Report Commission and Members of the Information Commission
Result of the vote
In the afternoon session of the work of the Synod on Monday 9 October 2023, the votes for the election of the members of the Synthesis Report Commission and the Information Commission were held.
The Synthesis Report Commission has the task not of writing, but of periodically supervising, amending and approving the preparation work of the draft Synthesis Report, with a view to its presentation in the Assembly.
The Information Commission has the task of dealing with communication on the progress of the Synod Assembly, in accordance with Art. 24 § 1 of the Regulation of understanding with the Dicastery for Communication and the General Secretariat of the Synod, which will assist with their own staff.
The elections took place following the procedures and norms indicated in the Regulation, in particular Art. 11, § 2-4; Art. 14 and Art. 15.
Therefore, in accordance with Art. 14 § 2 of the Regulation, the Synthesis Report Commission shall be composed of:
