Francesco pastore e teologo (pgs. 302; € 30,00) is a book published by Libreria Editrice Vaticana and edited by Daniel Palau Valero. It collects the contributions of specialists who took part in the conference held in Barcelona in November 2019, at the Sant Pacià University Athenaeum. It represents a good opportunity to approach the missionary proposal of Pope Francis and to better understand how the Pontiff is received in different continents and different cultural areas. At the heart of the book is the need to give answers to the most urgent questions about Christianity today and, above all, to make a correlation between pastoral and theology, in the conviction that talking about pastorality of theology, in the sense of a missionary proposal, needs complementarity between the two dimensions. Life and faith, reflection and discernment, pastoral care and theology have reached a stimulating and necessary point of convergence, which gives strength and credibility to the mission of a people moved by the Spirit. It contains contributions by: Luis F. Ladaria; Matteo Maria Zuppi, Margarita Bofarull i Buñuel, Armand Puig i Tàrrech, Walter Kasper, Joan Planellas i Barnosell, Maurizio Gronchi, Carlos María Galli, Andrea Tornielli, Prem Xalxo, Felix A. Machado, Catherine Cornille, Adolfo González Montes, Carlos Osoro Sierra.
