Today, the final histological reports and the results of the molecular biology tests on the tissue removed during the Holy Father’s surgery were issued. The findings confirmed that the tumour was a pulmonary adenocarcinoma and that the disease was localized. A subsequent oncological assessment confirmed that no further treatment is required.
