Today, 31 July, Pope Francis left the Vatican and travelled to Ostia at 15.00, to visit Sister Geneviève Jeanningros, Little Sister of Jesus, and the community of fairground and circus performers at the Luna Park in Ostia Lido.

The Holy Father blessed a statue of Our Lady, Protectress of the Travelling Show and Circus, and greeted the families and children present.
