In response to questions from journalists, the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, states:

“I can confirm that Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin will lead the Holy See Delegation already present in Dubai on the occasion of the COP28, in order to bring, on Saturday 2 December, the contribution that the Holy Father would have liked to make. The following day, Sunday 3 December, together with the Cardinal Prefect of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, Ayuso Guixot, the Secretary of State will participate in the planned inauguration of the Faith Pavilion”.
