In response to questions from journalists, the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, gave the following statement:

“I can confirm that today’s meeting between Pope Francis and Mr. Ronald Steven Lauder, President of the World Jewish Congress, and some members of the same Congress, was arranged at the beginning of the month of September”.
