At the end of Holy Mass in the Basilica of Saint Augustine, the Pope transferred by car to “Rabah Bitat” International Airport in Annaba. At 17.58, after taking farewell greetings with some local authorities, he departed on board an Air Algérie A220 bound for Algiers.

The aircraft carrying the Holy Father landed at “Houari Boumédiène” Airport in Algiers at 18.50.
