The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the office of apostolic nuncio in the Netherlands presented by Archbishop Jean-Marie Speich, titular of Sulci, in accordance with Art. 20, § 2 of the Regulations for Pontifical Representations.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Port Victoria or Seychelles, Seychelles, presented by Bishop Jean-Baptiste Alain Harel.
The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Landry Philippe Rasamison, O.F.M. Cap., until now Guardian Father of the Capuchins in the Seychelles and parish priest of Saint Michel in Anse aux Pins, as bishop of the diocese of Port Victoria or Seychelles.
Curriculum vitae
Msgr. Landry Philippe Rasamison, O.F.M. Cap., was born on 3 May 1972, in Ambanja, Madagascar. After studying philosophy at the Saint Paul Apôtre Major Seminary in Antsirabé and theology at the Interdiocesan Major Seminary of Ambatobe, he was awarded a licentiate in spiritual theology at the Pontifical University Antonianum of Rome.
He was ordained a priest on 15 August 2000.
He has held the following offices: formator and bursar of the Philosophy Scholasticum of the Capuchins in Antsirabé (2000-2002), bursar of the Fraternity of the Immaculate Conception in Antsirabé (2005-2008), parish priest of Sacred Heart of Jesus in La Misère, Seychelles (2008-2022), head of pastoral vocational care in the Seychelles (2009-2019), and from 2023 to date, guardian of the Fraternity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and parish priest of Saint Michel in Anse aux Pins.
Appointment of metropolitan archdiocese of Sassari, Italy
The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Francesco Antonio Soddu as metropolitan archbishop of Sassari, Italy, transferring him from the diocese of Terni-Narni-Amelia.
Curriculum vitae
Bishop Francesco Antonio Soddu was born on 24 October 1959 in Chiaramonti, in the metropolitan archdiocese of Sassari. After studying philosophy and theology at the Pontifical Regional Seminary of Sardinia in Cagliari, he was awarded a bachelor’s degree in sacred theology and a licentiate in pastoral theology at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Sardinia.
He was ordained a priest on 24 April 1985.
He has held the following offices: vice rector of the Pontifical Regional Seminary of Sardinia in Cagliari (1985-1987), vice rector of the Archepiscopal Seminary of Sassari (1987-1996), director of the diocesan Centre for Vocations (1987-2005), parish priest of the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas in Sassari (1997-2012), diocesan assistant for Italian Catholic Action-Youth Sector (1998-2005), member of the diocesan Presbyteral Council (1999-2012), member of the diocesan College of Consultors (2005-2011), director of diocesan Caritas (2005-2012), director of the diocesan Migrantes Office (2011-2012), and director of Italian Caritas (2012-2021).
Within the Italian Episcopal Conference, he is a member of the Commission for the Service of Charity and Health. In addition, he is secretary and bishop delegate for health pastoral care, social issues and labour of the Episcopal Conference of the Umbria Region.
He was appointed bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia on 29 October 2021, receiving episcopal ordination on 5 January 2022.
