Resignation and succession of metropolitan archbishop of Morelia, Mexico

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the metropolitan archdiocese of Morelia, Mexico, presented by Archbishop Carlos Garfias Merlos.

He is succeeded by Archbishop José Armando Álvarez Cano, until now coadjutor archbishop of the same archdiocese.

 

Resignation of bishop of Bogor, Indonesia, and appointment of apostolic administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Bogor, Indonesia, presentedby Bishop Paskalis Bruno Syukur, O.F.M.

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Christophorus Tri Harsono of Purwokerto as apostolic administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same diocese.
