At 16.00 (local time), the Pope transferred by car to the Presidency for Religious Affairs, where he was received at the entrance by the President for Religious Affairs, who accompanied him to the private study for a brief discussion.

At the end, the Holy Father transferred to the Apostolic Nunciature by car and then, at 17.30, travelled by car to Ankara-Esenboğa International Airport.

At 18.15 (local time), the farewell ceremony from Ankara was held at Ankara-Esenboğa International Airport.

On arrival at the airport, the Holy Father was welcomed by a Minister and, after greetings to a local delegation, he boarded an A320neo / ITA Airways aircraft which departed at 18.20, bound for Istanbul.

The aircraft landed at Istanbul-Atatürk Airport at 19.12.

On arrival at Istanbul-Atatürk Airport, after the welcome from the local authorities, the Pope transferred by car to the Apostolic Delegation.
