The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the metropolitan archdiocese of Paraná, Argentina, presented by Archbishop Juan Alberto Puiggari.
The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Raúl Martín of Santa Rosa as metropolitan archbishop of Paraná, Argentina.
Curriculum vitae
Archbishop-elect Raúl Martín was born on 9 October 1957 in Buenos Aires. He obtained a licentiate in theology from the Universidad Católica Argentina.
He was ordained a priest on 17 November 1990, and incardinated in the same archdiocese.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar and parish priest in various parishes; deputy chargé for the archdiocese for the Pastoral Care of Childhood; ecclesiastical assistant of the Seminario Catequístico María Sede de la Sabiduría and member of the Presbyteral Council.
On 1 March 2006 he was appointed titular bishop of Troyna and auxiliary of Buenos Aires, receiving episcopal ordination the following 20 May. On 24 September 2013 he was appointed bishop of Santa Rosa.
Within the Argentine Episcopal Conference, he is a member of the Council for Economic Affairs.

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Alejandro Pablo Benna, until now bishop of Alto Valle del Río Negro, as bishop of Morón, Argentina.

Bishop Alejandro Pablo Benna was born on 12 November 1959 in Buenos Aires. He studied at the archdiocesan seminary of Buenos Aires and was ordained a priest on 14 November 1987.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar of Nuestra Señora de Balvanera, of San Ramón Nonato, of Nuestra Señora de la Anunciación and of Santa Ana y San Joaquín in Buenos Aires; executive director of the episcopal vicariate for youth; supervisor of the Instituto Nacional de Formación de Pastoral de Juventud Cardenal Eduardo Francisco Pironio, member of the Associación Eclesiástica de San Pedro, parish priest of Santa Ana y San Joaquín in Buenos Aires and of San Francisco de Asís in Lavallol, in the diocese of Lomas de Zamora.
On 28 November 2017 he was appointed titular bishop of Vardimissa and auxiliary of Comodoro Rivadavia, receiving episcopal ordination the following 23 December. After being appointed as apostolic administrator of the diocese of Alto Valle del Río Negro, on 9 July 2021 he was appointed as bishop of the same see.
Within the Argentine Episcopal Conference, he is a member of the Council for Economic Affairs.

Msgr. Brice Armand Ibombo was born on 23 November 1973 in Abala, in the diocese of Gamboma. After studying philosophy at the Msgr. Georges-Firmin Singha Philosophical Major Seminary of Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, and theology at the major seminary of Concordia-Pordenone, Italy, he was awarded a doctorate in Church history from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome.
He was ordained a priest on 28 August 2004.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar of the Cathedral of Santo Stefano Protomartire of Concordia Sagittaria (2004-2010), parish administrator of Santa Maria degli Angelii in Caraffa del Bianco (2010-2013), secretary of the Episcopal Conference of the Congo (2013-2023), parish cooperator in Notre-Dame des Victoires of Ouenzé (2014-2015), lecturer in the Department of History of Marien Ngouabi University, Brazzaville (since 2014), member of the College of Consultors of the diocese of Gamboma (since 2019), and vice rector of the Emile Card. The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Clésio Facco, S.A.C., until now parish priest of Santo Antonio in Santa Maria-RS, in the archdiocese of the same name, as bishop of the diocese of Uruguaiana, Brazil.

Msgr. Clésio Facco, S.A.C., was born on 1 April 1971 in Nova Palma, archdiocese of Santa Maria, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. He studied philosophy and theology at the Colégio Máximo Palotino in Santa Maria-RS.
After giving his religious vows in the Society of the Catholic Apostolate (Pallottines) in 1994, he received priestly ordination on 14 December 1997.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar in Dourados-MS (1998-1999), of San Vincenzo Pallotti in Rome (2005-2007), and in Santa Maria-RS (2012-2013); rector and professor of the Seminário dos Padres Palotinos in Vale Vêneto-RS (1999-2002); director of the Preparatory Seminary and Rector of the Vicente Pallotti Seminary in Palotina-PR (2002-2005); parish priest of Fátima do Sul-MS (2007-2010); provincial secretary and deputy bursar (2010-2012); provincial counsellor and notary (2011-2013); director of the Escola Vicente Pallotti in Santa Maria-RS (2011-2015); provincial bursar (2012-2016); rector of the Provincial House (2013-2016); deputy provincial (2014-2016); member of the Presbyteral Council of the metropolitan archdiocese of Santa Maria (2016-2022) and bursar of the same province (since 2023).

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Francisco Agamenilton Damascena as bishop of the diocese of Luziânia, Brazil, transferring him from the see of Rubiataba-Mozarlândia.

Bishop Francisco Agamenilton Damascena was born on 26 June 1975 in Currais Novos, diocese of Caicó, in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. He studied philosophy at the Seminário Maior Arquidiocesano Nossa Senhora de Fátima in Brasília-DF, and subsequently obtained a licentiate in philosophy and a bachelor’s degree in theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. He was awarded a doctorate in philosophy from the Pontifical Lateran University of Rome.
He was ordained a priest on 19 March 2001, and incardinated in the diocese of Uruaçu.
He has held the following offices: parish administrator, parish vicar, parish priest, chancellor of the diocesan Curia, diocesan pastoral coordinator, academic director of the Diaconal School, vice rector and professor of the São José Major Seminary, member of the Presbyteral Council, the Council of Formators and the College of Consultors, and diocesan administrator of Uruaçu.
On 23 September 2020 he was appointed as bishop of Rubiataba-Mozarlândia, receiving episcopal ordination on the following 6 December.
Within the Brazilian Episcopal Council, he is secretary of the Regional Centro-Oeste and member of the Episcopal Commission for Culture and Education.
