The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Riccardo Battocchio, of the clergy of the diocese of Padua, Italy, until now rector of the Almo Collegio Capranica in Rome, as bishop of Vittorio Veneto, Italy.
Curriculum vitae
Msgr. Riccardo Battocchio was born on 14 August 1962 in Bassano del Grappa, diocese of Vicenza.
He was ordained a priest on 7 June 1987 for the diocese of Padua.
He was awarded a doctorate in dogmatic theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome and a diploma in library science from the Vatican Apostolic Library.
He has held the following offices: teacher and formator at the diocesan seminary, where he held courses in introduction to Christianity and theology, and theological and eschatological theology; director of the library of the episcopal seminary of Padua (2004-2019); deputy head of the Theological Faculty of Triveneto and director of the specialist course; president of the Italian Theological Association (2019); assistant in some parishes of the diocese of Padua; member of the team of the San Luca Institute for the permanent formation of priests of the diocese of Padua; and member and special secretary of the XVI General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops. Since 2019 he has served as rector of the Almo Collegio Capranica in Rome.

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Camillo Cibotti of the diocese of Isernia-Venafro, Italy, as bishop of the diocese of Triveneto, Italy, uniting the two sees in persona Episcopi.
Curriculum vitae
Bishop Camillo Cibotti was born on 28 October 1954 in Casalbordino, in the metropolitan archdiocese of Chieti-Vasto.
He studied philosophy and theology at the regional seminary of Chieti and obtained a licentiate in moral theology from the Pontifical Alphonsian Academy in Rome.
He received priestly ordination on 1 July 1978, and was incardinated in the metropolitan archdiocese of Chieti-Vasto.
He has held the following offices: parish priest in Liscia (1978-1985), spiritual father in the regional seminary (1985-1988), parish priest in Ripa Teatina (1988-1994), parish priest of Ss. Trinità dei Pellegrini in Chieti (1994-2005), rector of the Church of San Domenico in Chieti (1994-2005), vicar general of Chieti-Vasto (since 2005), professor of moral theology at the Theological Institute of Abruzzo and Molise, episcopal vicar for the laity and assistant of the diocesan council for the laity.
He was appointed bishop of Isernia-Venafro on 8 May 2014, and received episcopal consecration on the following 11 June.
Within the Regional Episcopal Conference, he is bishop delegate for legal matters, bishop delegate for aid and bishop delegate for the liturgy.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Eloy Alberto Santiago Santiago, until now chancellor-secretary general of the diocese of Islas Canarias, as bishop of the diocese of San Cristóbal de la Laguna, Tenerife, Spain.

Msgr. Eloy Alberto Santiago Santiago was born on 8 September 1973 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He was awarded first a licentiate in dogmatic theology, then in canon law from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and a doctorate in theology from the same university.
He was ordained a priest on 17 July 1999.
Since ordination, he has held the following offices: secretary at the apostolic nunciature in Colombia (2006-2009), South Africa (2009-2013) and Great Britain (2013-2014); professor of Christology and of the master’s course in theology at the Instituto Superior de Teología de las Islas Canarias, ISTIC (2014); parish priest of Santa Brigida and Nuestra Señora de Madroña (2014-2015); member of the editorial team of the journal Almogaren (2014-2017); coordinator of the Department of Theology of ISTIC (2014-2019); vice rector of the major seminary and chargé of the minor seminary (2015-2019); secretary of the Presbyteral Council (since 2015).; member of the Delegation for the Clergy (since 2016); professor of Origins of Christianity at ISTIC (2017); parish priest of San Pio X and El Salvador (2018-2019); parish priest of Santísima Trinidad in El Tablero and director of the Secretariat for Ecumenism and the pastoral care of tourism (since 2019); diocesan chancellor; member of the Commission for the Protection of Minors; professor of canon law at ISTIC, and member of the Episcopal Council (since 2020).

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Joaquim Giovani Mol Guimarães as coadjutor bishop of the diocese of Santos, Brazil, transferring him from the titular see of Galtellì and the office of auxiliary of Belo Horizonte.

Bishop Joaquim Giovani Mol Guimarães was born on 6 January 1960 in Ponte Nova, in the metropolitan archdiocese of Mariana, in the State of Minas Gerais.
He studied philosophy and theology at the Pontificia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte-MG and obtained a licentiate in pastoral theology from the Centro de Estudos Superiores da Companhia de Jesus in Belo Horizonte-MG.
He received priestly ordination on 16 July 1988 for the Salesian Society of Saint John Bosco (Salesians) and was incardinated in the metropolitan archdiocese of Belo Horizonte in 1992.
He has held the following offices: parish priest of São João Batista in Jaciguá-ES and of Santa Maria, Mãe de Deus in Belo Horizonte-MG; vicar forane and member of the Presbyteral Council and the archdiocesan Pastoral Council; professor of systematic and pastoral theology in some higher education institutes; vice rector of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, rector of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (2007-2022); president of the Higher Council of the Associação Nacional de Educação Católica do Brasil (ANEC) (2011-2015); and member of the Pontifical Council for Culture (2015-2022).
He was appointed titular bishop of Galtellì and auxiliary of the metropolitan archdiocese of Belo Horizonte on 11 February 2006, receiving episcopal consecration the following 25 March.
Within the Brazilian Episcopal Council, he has served as chair of the Episcopal Commission for Culture and Education (2011-2015) and of the Episcopal Commission for Communication (2015-2023).
