The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Cân Tho, Vietnam, presented by Bishop Stephanus Tri Buu Thiên.

He is succeeded by Bishop Peter Le Tan Loi, until now coadjutor of the same diocese.
