During today’s Angelus, the Holy Father Francis announced a consistory for the creation of new Cardinals:

And now, I am pleased to announce that on December 8^th, I will hold a consistory for the appointment of new cardinals. Their origin reflects the universality of the Church, that continues to announce God's merciful love to all people. Here are the names of the new cardinals:
