Today, Saturday 5 October 2024, at 13.30, a briefing will be held in the Holy See Press Office, Via della Conciliazione 54, to provide an update on the work of the Second Session of the 16^th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops.

The speakers will be:

- Bishop Pablo Virgilio S. David of Kalookan, Philippines, member of the Commission for Information of the 16^th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops;

- Archbishop Launay Saturné of Cap-Haïtien, Haiti;

- Ms. Catherine Clifford, witness of the synodal process, North America;

- Dr. Paolo Ruffini, prefect of the Dicastery for Communication and chair of the Commission for Information of the 16^th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops;

- Dr. Sheila Leocádia Pires, communications officer of the “Southern African Catholic Bishops’ Conference” (S.A.C.B.C.), secretary of the Commission for Information of the 16^th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops.
