The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Grodno, Belarus, presented by Bishop Aleksander Kaszkiewicz.
He is succeeded by Bishop Uladzmir Huliai, until now bishop coadjutor of the same diocese.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Fr. Euginius L. Cañete, until now coordinator general of the Missionaries of Jesus, as bishop of Gumaca, Philippines.
Curriculum vitae
Msgr. Euginius L. Cañete was born on 8 July 1966 in Liloan, Cebu.
After carrying out his studies in psychology at the Maryshore Major Seminary and La Salle College in Bacolod City, and in philosophy and theology at Maryhill School of Theology, he was awarded a licentiate in canon law from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome.
He received priestly ordination on 18 December 1995.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend César Augusto Huerta Ramírez, of the clergy of the metropolitan archdiocese of Arequipa, parish priest of Cristo Obrero, as bishop of the diocese of Sicuani, Peru.
Curriculum vitae
Msgr. César Augusto Huerta Ramírez was born on 14 November 1975 I Huaraz-Ancash. After concluding his ecclesiastical studies at the San Jerónimo Major Seminary in Arequipa, he was awarded a licentiate in moral theology from the San Dámaso Ecclesiastical University in Madrid and, subsequently, a master’s degree in bioethics from the University of La Rioja (UNIR), Spain.
He received priestly ordination on 17 November 2005 for the metropolitan university of Arequipa.
After ordination, he was awarded a diploma in social doctrine of the Church from the Universidad Finas Terrae, Chile, and from the Universidad Católica Lumen Gentium, Mexico.
