The Holy Father has appointed His Eminence Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline, metropolitan archbishop of Marseille, as his special envoy to the celebrations of the 350^th anniversary of the erection of the metropolitan archdiocese of Québec, scheduled to take place from 20 to 22 September 2024.
