The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Fr. Rocco Ronzani, O.S.A., until now professor of fundamental patrology at the Pontifical Patristic Institute Augustinianum, Rome, as prefect of the Vatican Apostolic Archive.
Curriculum vitae
Fr. Ronzani was born in Rome on 21 February 1978. He entered the Order of Saint Augustine in 1997, and gave his solemn vows on 1 November 2002. He was ordained a priest on 27 June 2004. In 2010 he was awarded a doctorate in theology and patristic sciences from the Pontifical Patristic Institute Augustinianum in Rome, where he currently teaches. He is a consultor of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, and also director of the Historic Archive of the Augustinian Province of Italy and lecturer in the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Lateran University of Rome.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Wiston Mosquera Moreno, of the clergy of the metropolitan archdiocese of Cali, Colombia, until now vicar general and parish priest of the Cathedral of San Pedro Apóstol, as bishop of the diocese of Quibdó, Colombia.
Curriculum vitae
Msgr. Wiston Mosquera Moreno was born on 17 March 1967 in Andagoya, diocese of Istmina-Tadó. He carried out his studies in philosophy and theology at the San Pedro Apóstol Major Seminary of the metropolitan archdiocese of Cali and was ordained a priest on 19 March 2005.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, Jamundí (2005); parish priest of Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, Robles (2006-2011) and of El Señor de los Milagros, Cali (2011-2012); episcopal vicar for the East Zone and rector of the Señor Jesús de la Divina Misericordia, Cali (2012-2017); since 2017, vicar general of the archdiocese; and since 2018, parish priest of the Cathedral of San Pedro Apostól.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend William Prieto Daza, of the clergy of the metropolitan archdiocese of Villavicencio, Colombia, until now parish priest of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, in Restrepo, as bishop of the diocese of San Vicente del Caguán, Colombia.
Curriculum vitae
Msgr. William Prieto Daza was born on 26 December 1974 in Bogotá.
He carried out his studies in medicine, specializing in anaesthesiology and practising his profession. He obtained a licentiate in philosophy at the Siervos del Espíritu Santo Seminary in La Ceja, and a licentiate in theology at the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Seminary of the archdiocese of Villavicencio. He later obtained a licentiate in psychology from the Institute of Psychology of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
He was ordained a priest for the archdiocese of Villavicencio on 21 March 2013.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar of La Inmaculada Concepción of Restrepo (2013), parish vicar (2017), vicar general, and parish priest of Maria Madre de la Iglesia in Villavicencio (2018-2023). Since 2023 he has served as parish priest of Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Restrepo.
