Appointment of apostolic nuncio in Angola

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Msgr. Kryspin Dubiel, nunciature counsellor, as apostolic nuncio, at the same time elevating him to the titular see of Vannida, with the dignity of archbishop.

Curriculum vitae

Msgr. Kryspin Dubiel was born in Nowa Sarzyna, Poland, on 12 November 1973. He was ordained a priest on 31 May 1998, and incardinated in the diocese of Przemyśl.

He graduated in canon law.

He entered the Holy See diplomatic service on 1 July 2004, and has served in the Pontifical Representations in Rwanda, Belarus, Colombia, Philippines, Poland, Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates.

He knows French, Italian, Russian and Spanish.

 

Appointment of Holy See Permanent Observer at the Office of the United Nations and Specialized Institutions in Vienna and at the UNIDO, and Permanent Representation at the IAEA, the CTBTO, and the OSCE

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Msgr. Richard Allen Gyhra, nunciature counsellor, until now in service at the Pontifical Representation in Tanzania, as Holy See Permanent Observer at the Office of the United Nations and Specialized Institutions in Vienna and at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and Holy See Permanent Representative at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

 

Resignation of bishop prelate of Caravelí, Peru

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the territorial prelature of Caravelí, Peru, presented by Bishop Reinhold Nann.
