During the audience granted to His Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, the Supreme Pontiff authorized the same Dicastery to promulgate the Decrees regarding:
- the martyrdom of the Servant of God Luigj (né Mati) Palić (in Albanian Paliq), professed priest of the Order of Friars Minor; born on 20 February 1877 in Janjevo, Kosovo, and killed in hatred of the faith on 7 March 1913 in Peje, Albania;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Gjon Gazulli, diocesan priest; born on 26 March 1893 in Dajç i Zadrimes, Albania, and killed in hatred of the faith on 5 March 1927 in Scutari, Albania;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Isaia Columbro (né Nicola Antonio Maria), professed priest of the Order of Friars Minor; born on 11 February 1908 in Foglianise, Italy, and died in Vitulano, Italy, on 13 July 2004;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Maria Costanza Zauli (née Palma Pasqua), professed religious sister of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart and Founder of the Adorers Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament; born on 17 April 1886 in Faenza, Italy, and died in Bologna, Italy, on 28 April 1954;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Ascensión Sacramento Sánchez Sánchez, of the Cruzada Evangélica Secular Institute; born on 15 June 1911 in Sonseca, Spain, and died in Madrid, Spain, on 18 August 1946;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Vicenta Guilarte Alonso, professed religious sister of the Congregation of the Daughters of Jesus; born on 21 January 1879 in Rojas de Bureba, Spain, and died in Leopoldina, Brazil, on 6 July 1960.
