SOLEMNITY OF THE HOLY APOSTLES PETER AND PAUL 29 JUNE 2024

PAPAL CHAPEL

On Saturday 29 June 2024, Solemnity of the Saints Apostles Peter and Paul, at 9.30 in Saint Peter’s Basilica, the Holy Father Francis will bless the Pallia destined for the new Metropolitan Archbishops, and will preside over the Eucharistic celebration.

The following may concelebrate with the Holy Father:

- the Patriarchs, Cardinals and Metropolitan Archbishops appointed during the course of the last year, who are requested to be present at 8.45 in the Chapel of Saint Sebastian, bringing with them: the Cardinals, the white damask mitre, and the Metropolitan Archbishops, the white mitre;

- the Presbyters, with the special ticket, which may be requested from this Office before 24 June via the procedure indicated at https://biglietti.liturgiepontificie.va, and who should be present by 8.45 in the Gregorian Chapel, bringing with them their amice, surplice, cincture and red stole.

In accordance with the Motu Proprio “Pontificalis Domus”, all the members of the Papal Chapel who wish to participate in the liturgical celebration, must bring the Notification which should be requested via email at celebrazioni@celebra.va before 24 June. They must all wear their own choral habit and be present in the Basilica by 9.00, in order to take the places to be indicated to them by the Pontifical Masters of Celebrations.
