Appointment of secretary and adjunct secretary of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Luis Manuel Alí Herrera, auxiliary of Bogotá and titular of Iubaltiana, until now member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, as secretary of the same Pontifical Commission.

The Holy Father has appointed Dr. Teresa Morris Kettelkamp, until now member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, as adjunct secretary of the same Pontifical Commission.

Curriculum vitae of Dr. Morris Kettelkamp

Dr. Teresa Morris Kettelkamp was born on 13 February 1952 in Chicago, United States of America. After graduating in political sciences from Quincy University, she entered the ranks of the Illinois State Police, ultimately attaining the rank of Colonel. She has served as executive director of the Secretariat of Child and Youth Protection of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. She worked on the drafting of the Guidelines for the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Adults with the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors and, in 2018, was appointed a Member of the same Pontifical Commission.
