Appointment of adjunct under-secretaries of the Dicastery for the Clergy
The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Enrico Massignani, until now chancellor of the Curia of the diocese of Vicenza, Italy, as under-secretary of the Dicastery for the Clergy.
The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Msgr. Eamonn McLaughlin, until now official of the Dicastery for the Clergy, as adjunct under-secretary of the Formation Office of the same Curial Institution.
Curriculum vitae of Don Enrico Massignani
Don Massignani was born on 7 February 1976 in Valdagno, Italy, and was ordained a priest on 7 June 2003 for the diocese of Vicenza. He obtained a doctorate in canon law from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He held various offices in the diocese, including chancellor, judge of the Triveneto Regional Ecclesiastical Tribunal, and administrator of the parish of San Cristoforo in Tonezza del Cimone.
Curriculum vitae of Msgr. Eamonn McLaughlin
Msgr. McLaughlin was born on 21 June 1977 in County Donegal, Ireland, and was ordained a priest on 30 June 2002 for the diocese of Raphoe. He was awarded a licentiate in theology from the former John Paul II Institute in Rome. He held various offices in his diocese, including member of the Presbyteral Council and director of the Marriage Tribunal. Since 2017 he has served as an official of the Dicastery for the Clergy.
