The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Srijem, Serbia, presented by Bishop Đuro Gašparović.
He is succeeded by Bishop Fabijan Svalina, until now coadjutor bishop of the same diocese.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the office of auxiliary bishop of the archdiocese of Strasbourg, France, presented by Bishop Gilles Reithinger.
Appointment of bishop of Chiclayo, Peru
The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Edinson Edgardo Farfán Códova, O.S.A., as bishop of the diocese of Chiclayo, Peru, transferring him from the territorial prelature of Chuquibambilla.
Curriculum vitae
Bishop Edinson Edgardo Farfán Códova, O.S.A., was born on 21 September 1974 in Tambo Grande, territory of the archdiocese of Piura. He entered the Augustinian Order in 1998, and gave his religious vows on 11 January 2003.
He studied philosophy in the major seminary of the archdiocese of Trujillo, and theology at the Universidad Católica Boliviana of Cochabamba, obtaining a licentiate in spiritual theology and pedagogy. He was ordained a priest on 26 July 2008.
He has held the following offices: coordinator of the International Commission of communications and publications of the Organization of Augustinians of Latin America (2006-2014); parish vicar of Santa Ana de Cala Cala, archdiocese of Cochabamba, Bolivia (2007-2008); parish vicar of San José Obrero, lecturer in theology and spiritual director of the major seminary, diocese of Chulucanas, Peru (2009-2010); master of pre-novices of the Augustinian Order (2011-2012); parish priest of Nuestra Señora de Montserrat, archdiocese of Trujillo, Peru (2012-2013); lecturer in theology at the Universidad Católica de Trujillo Benedicto XVI, Peru (2013-2015); prior and master of the professed of the Augustinian Order (2013-2017), parish priest of Santa Rita de Casia, Trujillo, Peru (2015-2018); episcopal vicar for Consecrated Life in the archdiocese of Trujillo, Peru (2017-2018); secretary general of the Organization of Augustinians of Latin America (2015-2019).
On 24 April 2018, he was appointed apostolic administrator ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the territorial prelature of Chuquibambilla, Peru.
On 7 December 2019 he was appointed prelate bishop of the territorial prelature of Chuquibambilla, receiving episcopal ordination on 4 January 2020.
