Tomorrow, Friday 2 January 2024, at 11.30, in the Holy See Press Office, Sala San Pio X, Via dell’Ospedale 1, a press conference will be held to present the first World Children’s Day, organized by the Dicastery for Culture and Education, to be held from 25 to 26 May in Rome, and which will involve the participation of Pope Francis and children from all over the world.

The speakers will be:

- His Eminence Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education;

- Fr. Enzo Fortunato, coordinator of World Children’s Day;

- Professor Marco Impagliazzo, president of the Sant’Egidio Community;

- Maria Brunelli, Auxilium Cooperative;

- Aldo Cagnoli, writer (video contribution).

Maria Luisa Grilletta, director of Industrial Planning for Trenitalia, and Marco Capasso, architect and creative and multimedia director of World Children’s Day, will be present.
