On Thursday 1 February 2024, at 11.30, in the Holy See Press Office, Sala San Pio X, Via dell’Ospedale 1, a press conference will be held to present the Message of the Holy Father Francis for Lent 2024, on the theme: “Through the desert God leads us to freedom”.

The speakers will be:

- His Eminence Cardinal Michael Czerny, S.J., prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development;

- The Reverend Don Andrea Cavallini, head of the Office for Catechesis of the diocese of Rome;

- Professor Emilia Palladino, associate professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical Gregorian University;

- Mauro Pallotta (aka “Maupal”), artist.
