The following is the text of the video message sent by the Holy Father Francis for the conclusion of the Sixth World Meeting of the Young People of Scholas – World ORT “Life in movement”, which took place from 23 to 26 October in São Paulo, Brazil:

I would like to thank the ORT authorities for the work they are doing. A work of reflection and also of testimony, with three key words: movement, gratuitousness and encounter. For an encounter to be human and non-commercial, it has to be free of charge. And for there to be an encounter, there must be movement. So, as you can see, these three words indicate something very human.

I am grateful to the authorities of the ORT schools that work with Scholas; it is an idea that has not yet reached its full potential, and it has been going on for a long time. It is something very important for the future. And I would also like to thank the Brazilian authorities for allowing or helping this kind of thing. Thank you very much, God bless you.
