On Friday 3 November 2023, at 11.00, at the altar of the Cathedra of Saint Peter’s Basilica, the Holy Father Francis will preside over the Eucharistic Celebration in memory of the late Supreme Pontiff Benedict XVI, and the Cardinals and Bishops deceased during the year.
The Patriarchs, Cardinals, Archbishops and Bishops who wish to concelebrate with the Holy Father are requested to arrive in the sacristy of the Basilica by 10.30, to put on their liturgical vestments, bringing with them: for the Patriarchs and Cardinals, the white damask mitre; for the Archbishops of Bishops, the white mitre.

The Patriarchs, Cardinals, Archbishops and Bishops, and all those who, in accordance with the Motu Proprio “Pontificalis Domus”, make up the Papal Chapel and who, having received their required Notification via celebrazioni@celebra.va, wish to participate in the liturgical celebration without concelebrating, wearing their proper choral habit, are required to be present at the Altar of the Cathedra by 10.30 in order to take the place indicated to them by the Pontifical Master of Ceremonies.

On Sunday 29 October 2023, at 18.00, His Eminence Cardinal Ángel Sixto Rossi, S.J., archbishop of Córdoba, Argentina, will take possession of the Title of Santa Bernadette Soubirous, Viale Ettore Franceschini, 40.
