The Holy Father has appointed the Eminent Cardinals João Braz de Aviz, prefect of the Dicastery for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and the Societies of Apostolic Life, and José Tolentino de Mendonça, prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, as members of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Luca Ezio Bolis, professor of spiritual theology at the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy in Milan, Italy, as theological consultor of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints.
