During the audience granted to His Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, the Supreme Pontiff authorized the same Dicastery to promulgate the Decrees regarding:
- The martyrdom of the Servant of God Giuseppe Beotti, diocesan priest; born on 26 August 1912 in Campremoldo Sotto, a locality of Gragnano Trebbiense, Italy, and killed in hatred of the faith on 20 July 1944 in Sidolo, a locality of Bardi, Italy;
- The heroic virtues of the Servant of God Simon Mpeke (known as Baba Simon), diocesan priest; born around 1906 in Batombé, Cameroon, and died on 13 August 1975 in Édèa, Cameroon;
- The heroic virtues of the Servant of God Pedro de la Virgen del Carmen (né Pedro Díez Gil), professed priest of the Order of Poor Clerics Regular of the Mother of God of the Pious Schools; born on 14 April 1913 in Pampliega, Spain, and died on 14 December 1983 in Zaragoza, Spain;
- The heroic virtues of the Servant of God Edda Roda (née Edda Maria Caterina), professed sister of the Institute of Capuchin Sisters of Mother Rubatto; born on 30 October 1940 in Leno, Italy, and died on 16 June 1996 in Bergamo, Italy;
- The heroic virtues of the Servant of God Tereza Margarida do Coração de Maria (née Maria Luiza Rezende Marques), professed nun of the Order of Descalced Carmelites; born on 24 December 1915 in Borda da Mata, Brazil, and died on 14 November 2005 in Três Pontas, Brazil;
- The heroic virtues of the Servant of God Arnaldo Canepa, lay catechist; born on 24 September 1882 in Rome, Italy, and died there on 2 November 1966;
- The heroic virtues of the Servant of God Guido Vidal França Schäffer, seminarian; born on 22 May 1974 in Volta Redonda, Brazil, and died on 1 May 2009 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil;
- The heroic virtues of the Servant of God Maria Cristina Ogier, lay faithful; born on 9 March 1955 in Florence, Italy, and died on 8 January 1974 in Rome, Italy;
