Appointment of Pontifical Legate to preside at the Eucharistic Celebration in Strasbourg Cathedral for the 1300th anniversary of the death of Saint Odile, patroness of Alsace

The Holy Father has appointed His Eminence Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin as His Legate to preside over the concelebration of the Eucharist to take place on 4 July 2021 in Strasbourg Cathedral, on the occasion of the 1300th anniversary of the death of Sainte Odile (Saint Ottilia), patroness of Alsace.
