The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the office of prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments presented by His Eminence Cardinal Robert Sarah.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the offices of vicar general of His Holiness for Vatican City, Archpriest of the Papal Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican, and president of the Fabric of Saint Peter, presented by His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Comastri; and has appointed to the same offices His Eminence Mauro Gambetti, O.F.M. Conv., former Custos General of the Sacred Convent of Saint Francis in Assisi.
