The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Pascual Limachi Ortiz as bishop prelate of the territorial prelature of Corocoro, Bolivia, transferring him from the titular see of Belesasa and from the office of auxiliary bishop of the diocese of El Alto.
Curriculum vitae
Bishop Pascual Limachi Ortiz was born on 5 May 1963 in La Paz. He carried out his studies in philosophy and theology at the Seminario Mayor San Jerónimo of La Paz.
He was ordained a priest on 29 June 1992, and was incardinated in the metropolitan archdiocese of La Paz. In 1994, he passed to the clergy of the new diocese of El Alto, dismembered from the metropolitan archdiocese of La Paz.
He has held the following offices: parish priest of Huarina (1992-1993); parish vicar of Achacachi (1993-1994); parish priest of Achacachi (1994-1996) (2002-2008); parish priest of San Pío X (1996-2002); parish priest of Ancoraimes (2008-2009); parish priest of La Santíssima Trinidad (2009-2019), and vicar general (2015-2019).
On 6 April 2019 he was elected as titular bishop of Belesasa and auxiliary of El Alto, and received episcopal ordination the following 26 June.

The Reverend Guillermo Antonio Cornejo Monzón, of the clergy of the diocese of Lurín, assigning him the titular see of Decoriana, until now parish priest of El Niño Jesús, vicar forane of the Deanery II and head of pastoral care of penitentiaries and the elderly;
The Reverend Fr.Juan José Salaverry Villarreal, O.P., assigning him the titular see of Asolo, until now rector of the dell’Instituto Superior de Estudios Teológicos Juan XXIII–ISET and episcopal vicar for consecrated life in the metropolitan archdiocese of Lima.
Curriculum vitae of Msgr. Antonio Cornejo Monzón
Msgr. Guillermo Antonio Cornejo Monzón was born on 1 November 1964 in Piura. He entered the Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo Seminary and was awarded a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and theology from the Pontifical and Civil Faculty of Theology in Lima.
He was ordained a priest on 8 December 1994, and incardinated in the metropolitan archdiocese of Lima; he subsequently transferred to the clergy of the new diocese of Lurín, from the dismemberment of the metropolitan archdiocese of Lima, on 14 December 1996.
He has held the following offices: parish priest of La Anunciación (1994-2006); supervisor of diocesan pastoral care of vocations (1994-2001); head of the Pastoral Zone II of Deanery II (2002-2008); supervisor of diocesan pastoral care of the young (2004-2010); head of the diocesan team for pastoral animation (EDAP) (2009-2013); general head of the diocesan evangelisation area (2015-2018).
Until now he has served as parish priest of El Niño Jesús, vicar forane of Deanery II and head of pastoral care of penitentiaries and the elderly.
Curriculum vitae of Msgr. Juan José Salaverry Villarreal, O.P.
Msgr. Juan José Salaverry Villarreal, O.P., was born on 2 September 1969 in Lima. He carried out his primary and secondary studies in the Colegio Nuestra Señora de La Merced in Lima. He entered the Ordre of the Dominican Fathers and carried out his studies in philosophy and theology in the Pontifical and Civil Faculty of Theology in Lima. In 2007 he was awarded a licentiate in canon law from the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain.
He gave his first religious vows on 11 March 1997 and was ordained a priest on 7 October 2000.
He has held the following offices: deputy Master of Novices of the Dominican Province of San Juan Bautista (2000-2003); president of the Majors Superior of Latin America (2010-2014); provincial prior of the Dominican Order in Peru (2010-2014); master of Dominican students at the San Alberto Magno Convent (2018-2020); and assistant of the Federation of Dominican Sisters in Peru (2018-2020).
Until now he has served as rector of the Instituto Superior de Estudios Teológicos Juan XXIII–ISET and episcopal vicar for consecrated life in the metropolitan archdiocese of Lima.
