The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Ignace Bessi Dogbo of Katiola as metropolitan archbishop of Korhogo, Cote d’Ivoire.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the metropolitan archdiocese of Minsk-Mohilev, Belarus, presented by Metropolitan Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz, in accordance with canon 401 §1 of the CIC, at the same time appointing Bishop Kazimierz Wielikosielec, O.P., titular of Blanda and auxiliary of the diocese of Pinsk, as apostolic administrator sede vacante of the same metropolitan see.
