Resignation of metropolitan archbishop of Ottawa-Cornwall, Canada and appointment of successor

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the metropolitan archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall, Canada, presented by Archbishop Terrence Thomas Prendergast, S.J.

He is succeeded by Archbishop Marcel Damphouse, until now coadjutor archbishop of the same archdiocese.
