Today the Holy See has appointed the Reverend Fr. Giuseppe Pusceddu, CFIC, provincial superior of the Italian province of the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception, as ad interim president of the managing board of the Luigi Maria Monti Foundation, the owner and manager - among others - of the Istituto Dermopatico dell’Immaculata (IDI-IRCCS) in Rome.

At the same time, the Rev.do P. Pusceddu is appointed as president of IDI Farmaceutici srl.

Pending the appointment of the new management, which will have to guide the Foundation in continuing to face the difficult challenges of the moment, the Reverend Fr. Pusceddu and his collaborators are entrusted primarily with the task of better adapting the Statute of the institution to the charisma of Blessed Luigi M. Monti, who inspired the Foundation.

The Reverend Fr. Pusceddu succeeds Professor Antonio Maria Leozappa, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks for his dedication and professionalism in managing the IDI and other structures within the Group, as well as for the results achieved.

The Holy See, as before, will not fail to show its closeness and support to the Foundation and its works, which perpetuate Father Monti's legacy through scrupulous care for the suffering and fraternal attention to their needs.
