The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the archdiocese of Gdańsk, Poland, presented by Bishop Sławoj Leszek Głódź.

The Pope has appointed Bishop Jacek Jezierski of Elbląg as apostolic administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the archdiocese of Gdańsk, Poland.
