Resignation of metropolitan archbishop of Montes Claros, Brazil, and appointment of successor

The Holy Father Francis has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the archdiocese of Montes Claros, Brazil, presented by H.E. Msgr. José Alberto Moura, C.S.S.

He is succeeded by H.E. Msgr. João Justino de Medeiros Silva, currently coadjutor archbishop of the same archdiocese.
