Resignation of apostolic visitor for Maronite faithful resident in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, and appointment of new apostolic visitors

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the role of apostolic visitor for the Maronite faithful resident in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, presented by H.E. Msgr. François Eid, O.M.M.

The Pope has appointed H.E. Msgr. Youssef Soueif, archbishop of Cyprus of the Maronites, as apostolic visitor for Maronite faithful resident in Greece.

The Holy Father has appointed H.E. Msgr. Michel Aoun, bishop of Jbeil of the Maronites, as apostolic visitor for Maronite faithful resident in Bulgaria and Romania.
